Lullaby is a lyrical and evocative two-part song for voices and piano.

Norman O'Neill (1875-1934) was the leading theatre composer of his day and was both prolific and successful, although his name is less familiar today.

This two-part song, dating from 1918 and with words by W.C. Bennett (1820-1895), has a gently lilting piano accompaniment mirrored by the 2nd voice with its repetitive and simple lullaby phrase. Ideal for school or concert use, the style is beautifully lyrical and atmospheric, tonal and accessible, offering many performance possibilities.

Lullaby is also performable as a unison song.
